Simple, functional, and made for the ritual.
Handmade in Nepal, this incense holder is designed for traditional Bateko Dhupaya rope incense.
A terracotta clay base catches the ash, while the slender aluminium arm allows the incense rope to hang freely as it burns. The uncomplicated design keeps the focus where it belongs: on the fragrance, the ritual and the moment.
Compact and easy to use, it is a practical companion for your everyday incense ritual, whether beside your journal, on a quiet corner of the home or wherever you like to take a moment for yourself.
Materials
- Terracotta clay base
- Aluminium hanging arm
- Handmade in Nepal
- Designed for hand-twisted rope incense
- Compact, minimal design
- Helps contain falling ash while incense burns
How to use
Hook one end of your Bateko Dhupaya onto the aluminium arm. Light the lower tip, allow it to catch briefly, then gently blow out the flame and let the incense smoulder.
Place the holder on a stable, heat-resistant surface in a well-ventilated space.
Care and safety
Wipe the terracotta base clean once completely cool. Keep dry and handle the clay base with care.
Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep away from children, pets, draughts and flammable materials.
