The collection celebrates the beauty of Nepali handmade paper, where every sheet carries its own texture, character and story.

Traditional Lokta paper is made from the fibrous inner bark of a shrub native to Nepal's Himalayan regions. Harvested without disturbing its roots, the plant can naturally regenerate. Artisans soften and beat the bark into pulp, spread it by hand across wooden frames and dry each sheet in the sun, creating paper known for its strength and distinctive texture.

Some of our journals feature real flower petals embedded in the wet pulp, becoming part of the paper itself. Others reveal natural fibres, botanical details and subtle variations that make each piece unique.

Our collection also includes recycled paper notebooks, created in partnership with Jamarko, a women-founded Nepali enterprise dedicated to environmental conservation and meaningful employment, particularly for women. By transforming discarded paper into beautiful, functional products and working with rural Lokta papermakers, Jamarko brings traditional craftsmanship and thoughtful resource use together.
