Crafted by hand, and by community

The felt pieces in this collection come from Lady Yak and a growing network of Nepali artisan collectives, each bringing their own creativity and care to the craft of felting with natural wool. Many of the women behind this work come from modest backgrounds, learning the traditional craft while also experimenting and adding their own touch to it. Working together gives them a steady source of income, and encourages the craft to be passed down through generations rather than lost to time.

Every piece carries the quiet, careful hand of the person who made it, which is exactly why no two are ever quite the same.
