Some memories deserve a page that already feels special.
Handcrafted in Nepal by Jamarko, this journal is made with traditional lokta paper and natural cornflower petals in shades of blue and violet. Its softly textured surface, visible fibres and botanical details give every journal its own character.
The petals are added by hand while the lokta pulp is still wet. As the sheet dries, the fibres form around them, holding the petals permanently within the paper rather than simply placing them on top. Their position, shape and colour will vary naturally from one journal to another.
Lokta paper is made from the fibrous inner bark of the Daphne shrub, which grows in the Himalayan mountains of Nepal. The shrub is harvested without removing its root system, allowing it to regenerate over approximately four to six years. The bark is boiled, softened and worked into pulp before each sheet is formed and dried by hand.
Use this journal for memories, reflections, travel notes, sketches or dreams you want to give a place of their own. Writing in it feels less like filling an ordinary notebook and more like setting something meaningful onto the page.
