Made in Nepal, with meaning

A Beautiful Beginning celebrates handmade pieces created to become part of everyday life.

The ceramic mugs and vase are painted by women Mithila artists in Nepal's Madhesh region, carrying the intricate patterns and visual storytelling of this long-standing art tradition into contemporary homewares. The felt coasters are handcrafted from wool through women-led partners in Nepal that train and employ women artisans.

At House of Himalayas, we are passionate about bringing high-quality handmade products from Nepal into Australian homes. We choose pieces for their craftsmanship, usefulness and individual character, while supporting women artisans, women-led businesses and makers whose skills continue to give traditional craft a place in modern homes.

For a beautiful new home, and all the gatherings still to come.
